Luca Annaratone was born in Casale Monferrato. He has always been fascinated by light and its uses and became passionate about photography at a pre-adolescent age. During secondary school, he felt the need to explore in detail other means of storytelling and was later selected for the three-year 'Cinematography' course at the film school ‘Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia’ in Rome under the guidance of Giuseppe Lanci.
After finishing his training, he started working on sets as a stage electrician and began his career as a camera operator in 2022. He has shot several short films and feature films which have been selected at international festivals. Between one film and another, he focuses on personal photographic projects.
