Luna Belotti (2001) lives near Lake Iseo and is attending the two-year specialisation course in Painting at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Bergamo. She has always been attracted by art and painting and enrolled at the Art School in Bergamo, where she became aware of her passion for drawing, ceramics and photography. After graduating from high school, she continued her studies in Brescia at the 'Libera Accademia di Belle Arti', where she discovered oil painting.
Her approach is free from all forms of ideology and without the pretention of imposing a meaning. When drawing, painting or taking photographs, she has a special eye for light, image composition and structure. What motivates her most is the concrete potential of developing gestures, which can make everything tangible. Handcraft skills and creative rituals are an integral part of her creative practice. The relationship between mountains and painting is at the centre of her artistic research.
