Francesca Formisano

Francesca Formisano (Rome, 1991) reads Lagazuoi through two intertwined vectors: a vertical one, plunging into geological, historical and contemporary memory, and a horizontal one, layering mist, reflections and human presence across the frame. She treats the mountain as an archive where geology, war history and present-day passage coexist within the same matter, connecting the rock's deep memory with the scars of conflict and today's traces. Her sequence renders time itself visible and sedimented — an archive she will keep contributing to.
