Lagazuoi Photo Award 2020

The Dolomites as nobody has ever "seen" them

On 17th January 2020 the curatorial project of the Lagazuoi Expo Dolomiti was presented to the public
Professional and amateur photographers are invited to reinvent the iconography of the Dolomites, which are among the most photographed peaks in the world, with unconventional shots, thus closing a gap that disadvantages the mountains compared to the cities.

Proposals can be submitted to the jury by March 15th: the prize is 10,000 Euros for the winner, a photo catalog for his solo exhibition at the Lagazuoi Expo Dolomiti from July 5th to September 10th 2020, in the middle of the high season.

In addition to Denis Curti, one of the most eminent photography experts in Europe, the selectors and jury members are Nathalie Herschdorfer, curator and director of the Musée des Beaux-Arts Le Locle in Switzerland, Andréa Holzherr, Global Exhibition Director and curator for Magnum Photos, the author Susanna Tamaro, the journalist Mario Calabresi and the founder of Lagazuoi Expo, Stefano Illing.
